Beamsville, ON, November 7th, 2024 -   Sleeping Giant Brewing and Newark Brewing announced Tuesday that Sleeping Giant has submitted a Letter of Intent to merge with Newark Brewing Company Ltd.  Sleeping Giant CEO, Andrea Mulligan and Newark Brewing's President, Griffin Data, agree that the merger will help both breweries achieve their goals of increased market share and help each other grow in an ever evolving craft beer landscape.  Both companies will continue to operate at their respective locations with a partnership geared towards distribution, sales and collaboration.

Newark Brewing was founded by Griffin Data in 2018.   Newark began as a contract

brand before moving into their 10 000 square foot facility in 2022, complete with

taproom, restaurant, retail store, beer garden and production brewery.  Quality,

tradition & community are at the forefront of everything Newark does, with a focus on

bringing high quality European style beers to the Canadian market.  ​
